ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Over the past six months, local youth researchers engaged with over 300 community members, including Opportunity Youth (OY), service providers, and trusted adults, to identify possible solutions to OY’s most pressing challenges to improve and increase connection to education, employment, and social support service opportunities. OY are young adults between the ages of 16-24 that are persistently disconnected from school and work.
