Join The Choral Society of Northeast Pennsylvania and our new Artistic Director Dr. Joshua Harper for the first concert of our 26th season! "My Song In The Night" is a program that touches upon a variety of themes including overcoming adversity as well as highlighting the light that follows the dark. Even in the darkest of times, we sing in the night for the morning that is to come. The program features works by Ola Gjeilo, Gabriel Fauré (whose death Centenary is just a few days before our concert), Rheinberger, and new works by Elaine Hagenberg, B.E. Boykin, and even India Arie (and more!).
We will be joined by a professional string quartet, Mark Laubach on organ, and Ron Stabinsky, our fabulous Collaborative Pianist. Come join us in an inspiring concert that aims to uplift and inspire.
This Concert is Free of Charge, but donations are gratefully accepted at the door. We believe everyone should have access to this beautiful art form, so we hope you will join us. Reception to follow.
Special Thanks to our Season Sponsor, PNC Bank!
