About this Event

The Khadijah Mosque, with its deep emerald and cream exterior, is a well-known landmark in Geylang but how any of us are familiar with what goes on inside its premise? Follow Dr Feisal on an inspiring tour of the beautiful mosque where he will explain its design and uses and share about the life-cycle rituals that take place at different points of a Muslim’s life!

More about the Khadijah Mosque

Completed in 1920, the Khadijah Mosque is named after Madam Khadijah Binte Mohamed who made a $50,000 donation to construct the mosque in 1915. The religious site can hold up to 500 people and hosts additional facilities such as computer labs and activity rooms. Housed in this site is also the Religious Rehabilitation Group’s Resource and Counselling Centre which seeks to counter religious extremism in Singapore. The mosque is due to undergo a series of renovations in 2023.
