We've all heard the phrase 'use it or lose it' when it comes to our minds. But what does that really mean, and what practical steps can we take for brain health as we get older? Hosted by the CRCNJ, we'll explore how the brain changes with age and, more importantly, what we can do to support it. The lecture will touch on the difference between normal age-related memory lapses (e.g., forgetting a name occasionally) and more significant cognitive changes.
A brief overview of the available opportunities for those who are experiencing differences in their cognition will be highlighted, including Free Memory Screening and research opportunities.
This event is open to everyone aged 50 and older who is interested in learning about important lifestyle factors for healthy brain aging, advances in research, and clinical trials.
Registration to this event is at no-cost. RSVP by 1/14 by calling (908)-353-4820.
