About this Event
The project explores the evolution of life's journey as a “garden.” It starts with focusing on mothers (including the lead artist) inspired by her landscape and raising black and brown sons in Baltimore City who “grow like wild seeds finding their way.” This is a portrait and short film project featuring interviews with five black mothers at various stages in their motherhood journey. as she begins to explore some of their processes, perspectives, and aspirations while raising them in Baltimore City.
At this event, you will not only discover effective strategies for nurturing and supporting your young boys in the urban environment, but also have the opportunity to grow personally. Engage with other mothers, share your personal journey, and acquire valuable insights and tools to empower your sons and yourself.
This is a self-care opportunity to be inspired, empowered, and uplifted. We can't wait to see you!
