About this Event
We are asking for volunteers and donations of items to put together toiletry kits and non-perishable food/drink packages - please check the list below of items we are requesting. Please let us whether you would like to:
- Donate to the Cause
- Assemble Care Packages
- Volunteer to hand out care packages
If you would like to donate items, please specify what items you will be bringing. We will be accepting donations on Saturday, 7/31 from 9am -12pm at the Fort Foote Recreation Center (8300 Fort Foote Rd., Fort Washington, MD 20744). If you would like to donate items but can't make it on 7/31, please contact the organizers to make other arrangements.
If you would like to help assemble care packages we will be doing this on Saturday, 7/31 from 12-3pm at the Forte Foote Recreation Center as well.
We will be handing out care packages from 10am - 1pm down the street from Union Station at the intersection of K St NE and First St NE.
At the conclusion of our event, we'll meet up at a location TBD for food and drinks.
