Are you preparing for an outdoor leadership course? Do you want to figure out what the weather is doing when out on the hills? How can you use weather knowledge to plan the best mountain adventure?
Join us in the Cairngorms this autumn for an action-packed weekend of weather and outdoor knowledge.
Over two full days, we'll mix classroom weather theory with time out on the mountains taking observations and understanding more about the mountain environment and the landscape.
Our teaching team combines both professional meteorology and mountaineering, bringing together both sides of life on the mountains - the science behind the forecasts, and how to deal with it when you're out there in the middle of it...
Come rain or shine, or considerable buffeting, this weekend is a great opportunity for discovery and adventure!
Course runs from 9am til 4pm each day, with optional social time on the Saturday evening at Glenmore Lodge. Packed lunches, drinks and afternoon cake will be provided as part of the course by Glenmore Lodge.
