MVS, Dayton VBC & Co. will be discretely adopting families for the holidays again this year. This includes providing toys and gifts for the kids to make the holidays a little easier for the families. The proceeds from the "MVS Santa Shark" Kidsgiving tournament will be used to “adopt” these families and all names are kept anonymous. Last year, thanks to y’all, SIX kids from three different vball families were able to benefit from this!If you know of any of our own volleyball families in need, please reach out to Jennifer or myself by Dec 6th. Fee: 4's = $25/player cash or $30/player Venmo
Register @ Daytonvbc.com (1st link on the website) Pick generic 4’s if the event does not have it’s own selection. Please register for your appropriate level (If you haven’t played with this partner or team is not a valid excuse to play down….or I haven’t played in a while or I wanna have fun and drink…. The director reserves the right to adjust the play level of your team at any time.
Event Structure: Pool play followed by all teams advancing to a single elimination tournament.
Tournament brackets are created using cross-pooling
-Losers of tournament play must ref the next match
-Match play for the finals is almost always a given
-No coed rule for events
Prizes: ($ will be reduced due to the event being a fundraiser for the adopted kids.)
Awards & prizes: Obviously, this is a low payout event. Please keep that in mind when you register and accept your awards.
A = $ cash
BB = partial$ cash, shirts. possible trinkets
B= shirts, possible trinkets
C/Rec = Shirts, (product, trinkets or bling if available)
2nd place also receives prizes
(lower brackets champions are not awarded cash prizes... ie lower BB-)
NO Outside Food or Drink!
