New Orleans LA – Kick off the Mardi Gras season and the excitement of the Super Bowl at the MVP Experience – Party With A Purpose celebrating the unique culture of New Orleans while benefitting The Recycle Challenge and its associated non-profit organizations. This vibrant event will take place on February 8 2025 at the Grand Hall of the New Orleans Healing Center with doors opening at 5:00 PM and festivities running from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Attendees can look forward to a night filled with recycled & repurposed art music culinary delights and community engagement. Enter through the spectacular red carpet entrance located at the St. Claude Avenue side of the New Orleans Healing Center.

Event Highlights Include:

Repurposed to Recycled Art Exhibition:
Featuring the Connecting Us Art Show this exhibition showcases the talent of over ten local and national artists who transform recycled and upcycled materials into stunning works of art. The exhibition will be on display from February 6 to March 6 2025 throughout the Grand Hall.
Entertainment:
Enjoy live performances from local DJs brass bands fire artists and stilt walkers that will energize the atmosphere. Witness a special entrance and greeting by The Recycle Challenge parade queens and secondliners kicking off the festivities.
Interactive Activities:
The Crafting & Recycle Station invites you to unleash your creativity by making hats and costumes from recycled materials. Attendees are encouraged to recycle their food and beverage waste on-site.
Culinary Delights:
Savor the flavors of New Orleans with local food vendors offering beloved dishes such as gumbo and beignets alongside vegan options. Delight your taste buds with wine cognac and themed cocktail tastings.
Community Engagement:
The event fosters collaboration with partners including the Milliners Association of Nigeria Grow On Farm and others to promote social justice sustainability and environmental stewardship. A Charity Drive has been organized in partnership with Literacy Project International to raise funds for the local Lower 9th Ward community.
Upcycled Walking Parade:
Participate in our festive Mardi Gras-inspired parade that celebrates sustainability and creativity. Attendees are encouraged to sport their most imaginative attire made from recycled materials.
