Dans is a collaboration between two active drone composers based in Prague.
For this show they will perform a site specific composition, tuned to the acoustics of Punctum Krasova, taking inspiration from the works of La Monte Young, Elaine Radigue and Phill Niblock.
This long-form drone composition guides those present to become lost in the encompassing power of harmonic texture and stillness where overtones of sound combine with the space’s resonant features, creating dense psychoacoustic effects and deeply meditative experiences.

Mušhuššu is a duo of double bass and live electronics that has sprouted from the smallest concert of Stratocluster to date in 2017. Mušhuššu explores a foggy sonic landscape of rustle and rumble, amplifying unstable gentle sounds coming from the double bass.
The long semi-improvised set will be prepared for the multichannel surround possibilities of Punctum.
