As we emerge from the darkest weeks of the year, this practice invites a gentle arrival into what lies ahead. Through restorative postures, slow transitions, and intentional breath, we’ll set meaningful intentions for the year we are stepping into by calling in the energy we want to build, nurture, and hold. Surrounded by the ancient presence of the Feature Pyramid and pre-historic exhibit, we are reminded that growth takes time, cycles, and space. We soften first, creating room for clarity, direction, and possibility. Let this be your quiet beginning...an opportunity to land, release what no longer serves, and open up to what you're ready to cultivate in 2026.This class is accessible for all levels of practitioners as Sarah offers many options and moments for you to turn up the dial of intensity or mellow it out as we honor how we have arrived on our mats. The class is accompanied with a live soundscape by Cody. He holds space for us by weaving together beautiful rhythms and sounds for us to move and breathe to.
We cannot wait to meet you on the mat!
Please bring your own mat and water bottle. There will be a few extra mats available to use in case you forget yours. There are two different class times that you can register for: 6:00- 7:00 p.m. or 7:30-8:30 p.m. The Muttart Conservatory will be open from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. for everyone to enjoy the other pyramids.
