An iftar is the meal at the end of a day of fasting during Ramadan. For many years (except during the coronavirus pandemic) the Forum has organised an iftar to bring Muslims, Jews, and people of other faiths and none closer together. You can read about previous iftars on the "News and past events" section of our website.
Like last year we are organising the iftar at Salford Civic Centre in Swinton. Kosher food will be available for those who require it and request it in advance.
The details are below:
Where: Salford Suite, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5FJ.

Booking: Numbers are limited to 50.
Booking is essential both for catering purposes and security purposes.
Please book by emailing [email protected] by Sunday 15 February at the latest.
We expect this to be a very popular event so early booking is more likely to ensure a place. If you book a place and find you cannot come, please tell us so that the place (and the food) is not wasted, as just before the iftar we normally have a waiting list.
