About this Event
Our events are aimed at Muslims working in tech and digital, entrepreneurs, founders, startups, or anyone interested in finding out more and networking in a Muslim-friendly environment.
Navigating the Tech Industry
We’ll hear from Yasmin Sidat, Senior Product Lead at Auto Trader and winner of the TalkTalk Women in Tech Rising Star Award 2022. Yasmin will be in conversation with Nazma Noor, a Digital Strategist, who has 15 years’ experience working in Digital Marketing in-house and agency-side.
Moving up and the 'Diversity Myth' Panel
We'll be hosting a panel discussion on stepping up in your career once you’ve got your foot in the door. How do you position yourself for a move into management? Is there a glass ceiling for POC and Muslims? Is diversity just a buzzword?
- Pavail Aqeel, Senior Technical Recruiter at Roku
- Others tbc
The panel discussion will be chaired by Shaf Choudry, Engagement Manager at Confluent.
We’d love you to join the conversation and share your insights with us on the day.
