Volunteers are needed for the 2025 Muskegon River Trash Bash! The Muskegon Lake Nature Preserve is a part of the Muskegon River Watershed, which is made up of the Muskegon River, connecting streams and tributaries and the thousands of acres of land that surround it. We will be concentrating on picking up trash around the entire shoreline of the Preserve and in the water of the Muskegon River, Muskegon Lake and the lagoon surrounding the Preserve.If you have a kayak or waders, please bring them. There will also be waders and a canoe available to use. Please bring sunscreen, gloves, and hats. Trash bags and water will be provided. Check in at the blue tent in the parking lot area.
