About this Event
Musika is one of the Bnatu languages and it stands for Marketplace. Eatblished in in 2017 by AkiDwA, the objective is to connect migrant women women in Ireland together through the craft.
It's members come from all over Ireland and come together on a quarterly basis for meetings and updates on individual progression, successes and challenges.
Many migrant women are skilled craft makers and need an avenue where they could use these skills to positively contribute to socoiety.
Musika provides that avenue where migrant women can use the crafts for entrepreneurship development theerby creating a sustainable socio-economic structure of developing and sustaining their families.
Musika is suuported by AkiDwA with provision of resources and training to become a self co-op in the nearest furure.
Musika merchandise is available online for sale on social media platforms.
The event which is going to be held on 3rd of August 2024 in Killarney Community Hall in Dublin 1, will be to showcase these items so that people who are interested can purchase.
Besides the items, there will also be food and drinks for all to enjoy.
