For nearly 60 years, the Musicians from Marlboro touring program has presented eminent artists with exciting young musical leaders. This ensemble pairs Marlboro Music Co-Artistic Director Mitsuko Uchida and St. Louis Symphony Principal Violist Beth Guterman Chu with two outstanding emerging string players: violinist Stephanie Zyzak and cellist Oliver Herbert. The program includes beloved works by Schumann and Beethoven, as well as selections from Signs, Games, and Messages by 1997 Marlboro Composer-in-Residence György Kurtág.Program:
