Musician Spotlight is back on April 8th! Join us in welcoming these musicians to our stage. We are so happy to be collaborating with Reno Musician's Collective.Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, but living on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe this summer, Alice Osborn performs her niche-folk, neo-folk Americana from coast to coast anchored by driving tempos, poignant lyrics, and powerful vocals. Alice’s acoustic originals are influenced by rock, bluegrass, and folk, and diverse artists such as Richard Marx, Natalie Merchant, and John Prine. She frequently returns to the themes of loss, love, and identity; Skirts in the Snow: Beyond the Donner Party is her most recent album. Previous albums include Searching for Paradise and Unfinished Projects. Alice teaches guitar, fiddle, banjo, and ukulele. Alice is currently working on songs for her most personal album yet, incorporating the theme of love, relationships, and social class against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada Mountains’ climate concerns.
Jonathan Madden released his first experimental album in 2021 and started his his Indie Rock band, NinD (Nothing if Not Dreams) in late 2022. Since then they have been working on Jon's second album and are playing shows in the Reno area. Follow NinD on their new Social Media pages for updates on their upcoming shows.
