With Jamie and Jen at the helm of this workshop they know that styling starts with a strong and unbreakable connection with your partner and with the music. Fine tune your lead and follow skills, strengthen and enhance your connection with your partner so that you can then add on your own beautiful lines and movements in freestyle.
It takes two to Ceroc, so come and absorb the skills that will help you and your partner to compliment each other from the very start of the track all the way up to the closing notes.
The first hour of this workshop will focus on connection between you and your partner incorporating classic/intermediate moves such as whips and sways using flow and connection with a real focus on techniques and musicality rather than just move move move. Less is often more.
For the following 2 hours they're going to take you to the dark side....musicality!
With their difference in style Jen and Jamie used to clash all of the time on the dance floor but after taking time to understand why, they discovered that musically they were both doing something entirely different and so delved into the dark art of musicality and began to understand what the other was hearing.
Off the back of this they came up with this workshop to help you wrap your head around various types of music and developing your interpretation of it. By the end you will have a better understanding of musical structure and with that what level in the track you are dancing. And if that isn't enough to tempt you, you get the bonus of finding out why Jamie is so odd and how his mind works, [thats worth it alone ].
3 hour workshop: £20 per person
We will also be going for food after the workshop before our Dragon Freestyle that night, please let Amanda know if you would like a space reserved for food. 07875666753 or email [email protected]
