Join us for a special music‑filled storytelling hour as part of the Newnan Songwriters Festival weekend. Presented by the Newnan Cultural Arts Association and sponsored by Newnan Shakespeare in the Park, this family‑friendly event blends reading, music, creativity, and emotional exploration.
Local artists Morgan and Carina Crumbly will share music inspired by the Touch Think Learn book Emotions by Xavier Deneux. They'll guide children through a playful and thoughtful exploration of identifying and understanding feelings. Through original songs, kids will learn how music can help us express and manage emotions.
Children will also enjoy an interactive coloring activity, creating their own visual interpretations of different emotions and how they might be expressed.
This event is free, and families of all ages are welcome. Registration is recommended to ensure seating and materials.
Festival participants who purchase the $40 weekend wristband will also receive access to recorded mp4’s of Morgan and Carina’s original songs featured during story hour.
