MUSICAL STARGAZING
Let’s go stargazing! Caterina Chiarcos takes us to Heaven with these motets for solo voice dedicated to “Illustrissima Signora D. Antonia Francesca Clerici. Monaca” who was a soloist of the Vespers at the convent of Santa Redegonda di Milan. Giovanni Legrenzi spent a year in Milan hoping to become the maestro di cappella of the Duomo before accepting the same position at San Marco in Venezia and he was enchanted by this singer.
