After 24 years, National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia is returning to the UK for a tour with only ONE concert in London and another ONE in Cardiff.
Take this opportunity to join this exclusive concert in celebration of world-known Armenian composers’ Charles Aznavour 100th, Komitas 155th Tigran Mansurian 85th, Robert Amirkhanyan 85th birth anniversaries. The concert will feature the UK premiere of orchestral arrangements of Charles Aznavour songs for the chamber orchestra as well as his most famous hits such as “She”, “Emmenez-moi”, “Pour toi, Arménie”, etc. Masterpieces by Komitas, including “Vagharshapat Dance”, “Chinar es”, “Kakavik”, medley of famous film soundtracks by Tigran Mansurian, popular film soundtracks and songs by Robert Amirkhanyan will also be performed by National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia and Klingen Choir under the baton of maestro Sipan Olah, who is also the artistic and concert director.
The event will feature solo pieces performed by well-known musicians Hayarpi Yeghikyan – soprano, Narine Malkhasyan – soprano, Jack Hagop Mouradian – oboe, Sona Barseghyan – piano, Sipan Olah – tenor.
