On December 10th, 2024, at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI), enjoy an unforgettable evening of music and sustainability as local artist Irene Diaz graces the amphitheater with her soulful vocals and plays the first guitar fitted with a fretboard made from Pyrus™. Irene's performance, combined with presentations also happening at this event, will scope out an exciting future for musical instrument building — one where rainforests are no longer ravaged by loggers for their endangered, high-value hardwood. (Spoiler: It's a highly underrated environmental problem). Pyrus™ represents the next generation of wood, avoiding tree cutting and using no epoxies or other non-biodegradable chemicals.
