Milwaukee’s popular and longest running super group, the R&B Cadets play their unique signature mix of danceable originals and obscure covers, fronted by some of the city’s most cherished voices – Paul Cebar, Robin Pluer and John Sieger. The Cadets were one of Milwaukee’s hottest bands from 1980 through 1986. They broke up following much success and high-profile gigs after Sieger signed his new band, Semi-Twang, with Warner Bros. Records.
The three lead singers have all established successful solo careers, currently performing as The John Sieger Combo, Paul Cebar Tomorrow Sound and in several groups for Pluer. Starting in 2001, they’ve reunited for occasional gigs. Musical Mondays has booked them regularly.
