Join uson September 28 at 5pm for Musical Migrations, a concert commemorating 200 years of immigration with music for piano & voice by Norwegian-American immigrants.
Soprano Laura Loge and pianist Steven Luksan present music by and for Norwegian-American immigrants spanning the last two centuries. From classical works, to nostalgic tunes, to popular hits, most nearly unknown to either Americans or Norwegians, they will introduce you to a world of music that guided, comforted, and entertained Norwegians as they created new roots in a new land, yet felt the pull of their motherland.
Concert sponsered by Leif Erikson Lodge Sons of Norway.
