Join us for a very special musical improv workshop with the one and only Laura Hall (from "Whose Line is it Anyway") hosted by Jest Improv!We are very excited to have the best in the business teaching people of all experience levels about the wonders of Musical Improv! This will be once in a lifetime opportunity to work with THE Laura & Rick Hall to give you confidence in your musical improv abilities, whether you have done it before or are trying it out for the first time. Feel free to join for our workshop while Laura and Rick are in town! This workshop will be held at the Bunker Theater on February 19th from 7-9:30 pm. Only 20 spots available!
The standard price for admission is $75 and the extra $2.55 accounts for the credit card processing fee.
Laura Hall is best known as the improvisational pianist and Musical Director on the hit TV show, “Whose Line is it Anyway”, which ran for nine years on ABC, with Drew Carey hosting, and will soon be taping it’s 11th season on the CW, with Aisha Tyler hosting. In December 2018, Laura played with the Whose Line Christmas Show at Royal Albert Hall in London, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the British & American versions of the show.
Laura has toured the country with “Drew Carey and the Improv All Stars”, and played with numerous improv groups, including iO Chicago and iO West, The Groundlings, Theatresports, The Improv Institute and “Opening Night: The Improvised Musical!” While at The Second City, Laura was Musical Director and Composer for the Jeff Award winning E.T.C. revue, “Channel This!” She composed original musicals with The Annoyance Theater and Theater-A-Go-Go, including “Patty, Patty, Bang! Bang!” which won an L.A. Weekly award for Best New Musical.
