This improv jam consists of 🎭 acting, reacting and creating, all in the moment, building on each others ideas which is then combined with music backing tracks & live band playing in the background of the theatrical improvisations, Musical Improv Comedy Show 🗓️ Date : 1st Dec, Sunday Afternoon 5-7PM ⏰ 📍 Venue: Rangmanch Studio, Shyamal You can register as both a participant or an audience member as well as register as audience.. ✔️ The many genres of music, 🎶 including blues, country, rock, desi and of course hip-hop all inspire and play a part in our improv scenes, all based on the suggestions of the audience, This show is beginner friendly and open to people with all levels of singing or comedy experience, We aim to make this a safe space for new improvisers & veteran performers to try and practice on the spot acting & singing formats! and ofcourse for an audience to witness the theatre fron a third person perspective while giving initiation prompts for the upcoming scenes, SAFE SPACE DISCLAIMER: this is not a `standup roast show`, if you found the exercises comfortable then can volunteer to participate, similarly, can register as a participant and chose to sit out of certain scenes if you feel like, the principles of our space is based on respecting people`s boundaries while trying to make the show as inclusive and interactive.. host: aryanqadri, a theatre actor & standup comic, did his improv 101 course with Upright Citizens Bridage, New York in 2019 after which after attending & hosting improv workshops on different aspects like objectwork, game of the scene, creating characters and touring these shows and workshops in Mumbai & Delhi, he`s back to hometown Ahmedabad. cohost: Keval Joshi, known for being emotive as well as an emotion invoker. he is an experienced event host who does poetry, standup as well as experiments different show concepts in theatres across India.
