Join us for another Music Therapy Session with vocalist, musician and music therapist Petra el Hawi – designed to be a safe space for exploration, relaxation, and creativity through the power of music. Led in English.Session will include:
• Engaging in body-work exercises
• Practicing breathing improvisation exercises
• Participating in deep listening and journaling
• Collaborating in a rhythm circle
Music Therapy helps with expressing and channeling emotions, stimulating the imagination, and utilizing free improvisation as a means of self-expression. Suitable for newcomers as well as those who participated in the first session.

PETRA EL HAWI
is a Lebanese musician, vocalist and music therapist currently based in Prague. She holds a Master’s degree in Music Therapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Petra has received training in France and Lebanon and has worked with diverse populations of varied ages both in one-to-one and in group sessions. She is also the co-founder of the musical duo Rust, alongside musician Hany Manja. The duo blends traditional Arabic music and vocals with contemporary electronic production, performing across the MENA region and Europe. Her academic and musical background has provided her with a strong foundation in utilizing music as a therapeutic tool to enhance mental health and emotional exploration.
SYNTH LIBRARY
is a space for sharing, creating, discussing, experimenting, learning and unlearning together not only in the field of electronic music. Space full of instruments, books and more sources of sounds and inspiration run by artists and curators with the aim to rehearse together, support each other, collaborate and listen to each other with respect. to reflect context, rebuild modular structures and create welcoming space in which we can test new instruments as well as new ideas and ways of living and organizing. The Synth Library stands thanks to volunteers and donations. Your workshop donations are split between the facilitators of the workshop and the running costs of the library.
