Music Skills Workshop, hosted by Harmonic Thread Collective, is a hands-on music education class designed to build foundational music skills through rhythm, movement, and creative music-making. This session launches our January introductory series and welcomes students of all experience levels. Instruction is led by Bailey Kracht, MT-BC, NMT, a board-certified music therapist with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Arizona State University. Bailey is an experienced music therapist, educator, and French horn player with a background in both therapeutic and educational settings. Bailey brings professional experience in music education, private instruction, and therapeutic work supporting children with diverse learning needs, including autism. Students will practice listening, beat matching, and simple musical patterns while working collaboratively with peers. Instruction is designed to be engaging and supportive for a variety of learning styles. Activities emphasize rhythm, melody and musical expression using body percussion, voice, and simple instruments. Each session includes guided instruction and collaborative learning experiences. This workshop is designed for students interested in developing music skills in an educational setting. Registration is $50 per class. Students may register for any individual session during the January introductory series. Hosted at Desert Donuts, located at 3134 W Carefree Hwy Ste A-10, Phoenix AZ 85086, from 5:00 - 6:30 PM.
