About this Event
This workshop is designed for players that already feel comfortable playing the basics of their instruments.
12 spots are available and we are dividing the group in half, in that way have 6 open spots for Charango Players and 6 open spots for Native American Flute players.
A day to learn more about music and the ways in what we can support each other playing in medicine circles.
In the morning, we will be exploring some general notions of music theory and the ins and outs of the charango and the flute - with easy techniques and playful exercises that will help you gain the confidence to harmonize and play with other musicians while developing your own music skills. The afternoon portion of our time together, we will be sitting in circle, while supported by the medicine of the mycelium, and open the container to play medicine songs in group where we will be complementing each other playing with different accompaniment metho and techniques.
We will close our gathering with a delightful dinner in the power of community.
Both medicine and food will be powered by our wonderful friends at Panacea.

Rita is an enthusiast student of life, nature, its elements and cycles.
She considers herself a musician, a sound healing artist, a ceremonialist and a facilitator. She has been teaching the Native American Flute to students all over the world since 2020.
Her spiritual path led her to integrate her life long classical music studies, music therapy and sound healing, yoga, reiki and earth-based practices into her healing work and the work she facilitates. In her personal journey she has been working with different plant and animal medicine allies; with a long-lasting love and deepen relation with the medicine of Cacao and fungi.
Rita has been holding circles and gatherings sharing these ancestral practices with deep reverence and grace.
