Thomas Jennings, a professional electric guitar player and educator, will lead melodic improvisation games and exercises to allow you to explore melodic choices. He will create a supportive and encouraging environment to play with phrasing, rhythm, articulation and note choice in melody writing. Whether you’re new to songwriting or have been writing for a long time, this masterclass can help you discover fresh and exciting ways to song write!
Thomas Jennings is a guitarist and educator based in Seattle, WA. A nationally touring performer, Thomas has played at prestigious venues including Mission Ballroom (CO), Chateau Ste Michelle (WA), and Coors Field (CO) and shared stages with notable acts like Lake Street Dive, Snarky Puppy, and Booker T. Jones. Thomas has over a decade of experience teaching private lessons, workshops, and group classes, and has also created a 16-week guitar course called "Progressions" which features over 40 classes of his design. Put simply, Thomas loves the guitar and cherishes every opportunity to share that enthusiasm, on a stage or in the classroom.
