The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) an non-profit organization and one of the world’s most established music education institutions will be hosting live performances to determine the winner of their prestigious Music Lights the Way Piano Festival with over $150000 in prizing to be won provided by Yamaha.
A number of talented youth piano players from across Canada and the United States have been selected to perform their pieces live at RCM’s renowned Koerner Hall in Toronto on March 21 between 12PM - 3PM and March 22 between 7PM - 10PM. Winners for youth categories will be announced after the live performances and take home amazing prizes including a Yamaha GC series Acoustic grand piano for the Level 10 winner.
These finalists were chosen from nearly 8000 submissions across Canada and the United States and are extremely talented young performers. The event is free for anyone who would like to attend attendees will simply need to request tickets through the RCM's website. For those who cannot attend the live performances there is a link available to stream online.
