We are thrilled to have The Joe Cirotti Quartet here to kick off the 2025 Music in the Woods season. Their respective multi-instrumentalist upbringings fused with a collective passion for the roots of American folk, country, and bluegrass music makes for an eclectic sound. Originally a well-oiled Trio string band from the shadows of Northwest Jerseys’ Appalachian ridge, this date will feature Joe Cirotti, Mike Alexander, Tim Coyle, and Pete Lister. Rooted in proximity, strengthened by a blue-collar passion for picking, and buoyed by their shared propensity for cigarettes and whiskey, the Joe Cirotti Quartet is not to be missed. The Music in the Woods concert series is being held in a large outdoor Amphitheatre setting requiring guests to arrive by 3:30 pm to allow for the 30-minute walk uphill on irregular terrain to the venue. Guests may BYOB, snacks, and pillows for your comfort. Parking at the Nature Center is limited, so carpooling is suggested. Walk-ins from Brookrace, ride-ins on bike, and vaccinated, friendly dogs on leash are always welcome. However, advance ticket purchases are required. Current Member fee is $20. Schiff membership and MITW ticket bundle pricing are $65. Non- member fee is $25. Ticket proceeds directly to support the musicians and Schiff. Outdoor events occur shy of rain or thunderstorms. Refunds will be processed automatically in the event of cancellation.
