Jimmy is a singer/songwriter/guitarist originally from New York who started playing guitar at age 19 and immediately fell in love with the instrument. A self-taught musician, he began by teaching himself songs by the Beatles, Bob Dylan and acoustic music of the late 60’s and early 70’s.Over his 50 years of playing, he has played in all kinds of bands including folk, bluegrass, rock’n’roll, blues and jazz. One of the most remarked upon aspects of his live shows is the variety of music he performs. He is just as comfortable singing a jazz standard from the great American song book as he is singing a contemporary country or pop tune. His set list includes songs from the late 1920’s right up to current artists like John Legend and Keith Urban.
Jimmy now lives in St. Joseph Michigan where he performs at many local venues including wineries, restaurants and casinos as well as private parties.
