MUSIC IN THE MUSEUM presents...

Daydreamer is an indie rock group formed in Austin in Fall of 2019. Lead singer and guitarist Harry Knight, guitarist and singer Sullivan Banks, and bassist Phin Miller all met when they were 5-year-old kindergarteners. Years later the three friends met drummer Thomas Ross and guitarist Charlie McBride, and Daydreamer was born. All five musicians in the band are also collegiate scholars.
Harrison Knight plays guitar and sings for Daydreamer. Harry is an incoming freshman at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in Music Studies.
Sullivan Banks-Gilmore plays lead guitar, sings, and plays keys for Daydreamer. Sullivan will be attending the University of Texas at Austin majoring in Plan II Honors.
Phin Miller plays bass for Daydreamer. He’ll be attending DePaul University in Chicago in the Fall, majoring in Liberal Arts.
Thomas Ross plays drums for Daydreamer. Nicknamed the “Golden Boy”, he’ll be attending the University of Oregon in the Fall majoring in Earth Sciences.
Charlie McBride plays guitar for Daydreamer. He’s an incoming freshman at the University of Denver majoring in International Relations, and he’ll also be playing trombone there.
Daydreamer has released one single entitled ‘10.21.03’, in the Spring of 2022. Their first extended play, These Slow Days, was released a year later in 2023. Daydreamer will soon be releasing their new single, ‘Past Due’.
Music in the Museum is more than just a concert; it's an invitation to experience music in its purest form and learn about its history, all within an intimate, historical setting. The Music in the Museum series takes place at noon on the third Saturday of every month, offering a unique platform for local artists to share their talents and connect with the community. The Music in the Museum performances give the community an opportunity to:
- Enjoy a free, live concert featuring talented area musicians.
- Learn about the history of different genres of music and their connection to Bastrop County.
- Explore the Bastrop Museum & Visitor Center before or after the performance.
- Connect with fellow music lovers and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere
