Roanoque Baroque was founded in 2022 by Artistic Director Dr. Michael Shasberger. The professional chamber orchestra specializes in historically informed performance on period instruments, presenting musical masterpieces from the Renaissance to Contemporary periods with an emphasis on the music of the 18century. th The “Music of Vivaldi” concert program includes the Sinfonia for Strings, RV 131; Motet: In furore justissimae irae, La Folia, and more.
