Join us for a free music concert in beautiful Island Park on Saturday, August 23 from 3pm-7pm. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and snack...and enjoy music from Mambo Surfers, a popular local act. Mambo Surfers are a musically creative Americana band from Milwaukee. Together almost three decades, one of the founding members is of Ho-Chunk descent and the other is a multi-talented musician originally hailing from India. They claim kinship with rogue folk, jam rock, world music, jazz and blues with lyrics focused through a socially-conscious lens.
Beer will be available to purchase from Perspective Brewing. Pina Mexican Eats food truck will have food for purchase as well.
We're excited to offer a Zumba workout led by Adrian Barelas before the music begins. Zumba is 2pm-3:30pm. Stay for the music that starts at 4pm.
