DAVE’S JAZZ BISTRO is proud to present an evening of music that has been requested by many DJB fans! THE JOHN RANGEL TRIO will be playing creative jazz versions of dearly loved themes from movies of the past century. We are also bringing two wonderful featured artists for this red carpet evening!
RICK KELLER, a saxophonist who has toured extensively through Europe and who now resides in Las
Vegas, NV, is a first call soloist for artists such as Lady Gaga, and has played with Burt Bacharach, Joe Sample, Jon Secada, Frankie Valli, Billy Cobham, and many others.
Vocalist BARBARA BENTREE, won the prestigious Hennessey Jazz Search and had singing roles on TV shows such as “Wings,” “Ally McBeal,” and “One Life To Live.” Barbara also won “Best Vocal Performance” and “Best Music Video” in The New Mexico Music Awards.
You just might find yourself singing along to the wonderful themes that enliven your film memories written by such luminaries as Henry Mancini, Harold Arlen, Irving Berlin, Barbra Streisand, Rogers & Hammerstein, Johnny Mandel, Marilyn & Alan Bergman, and more.
