MUSIC FOR THE MIND VOL.1: REBOOT WITH US
Welcome to the first live event of Music for the Mind, the fundraising event series that helps young musicians and creatives to reboot their careers and their optimism.

All profit from the tickets will be donated to Young Minds and Central London Samaritans.

Music is who we are. Music is what we live for. No wonder why this last one year has been so tough to deal with - the pandemic has left many musicians unemployed with no sight of when gigs and shows could resume. This has impacted the mental health of many in the creative industries. We created Music for the Mind events for those who feel like they could use some energy, knowledge and community support. Come and have a chill networking night with a cocktail, some good music and music industry talks that will help you reboot your career.

Lineup:|

Doors open at 18:00.
18:30 - The night will start with inspiring live music from the soulful acoustic performer, Natalie Lindi.
19:00 - Gabriella Kemeny PR Consultant specialised in artists. Her topic is how you can build your brand and create a sustainable business of your passion.

19:30 - Speaker from Central London Samaritanans.
19:45 - The first industry talk is from Hugo Kibasi, Senior Production Manager of Printworks and founder of EOTS Events. He will talk about how to build a successful project through his journey building his own company in the live music festival scene.
20:15 - Finally we will have blues-indie rock performer Eleni Drake with a bunch of positive and beautiful energies.

During the night there will be time for networking with your peers, freelancers, artists and musicians. Don’t miss out on the chance to talk to them, they may be your lucky stars!

YOU’RE MORE RELEVANT THAN YOU THINK. We find it very important to show that nobody is alone with their feelings and it’s okay about the future. We’d like to ask you to share your feelings on Instagram and Facebook about the world reopening, about the preceding 18 months using the following hashtag of #musicforthemindfeelings . We will project these on a screen during the night so all participants can see that we all feel similar things right now - don’t worry, you’ll remain anonymous!

About the charities:
In these difficult times luckily there are charities that deeply care about us. Volunteers at Central London Samaritans are there, round the clock, every single day of the year, to provide confidential, non-judgemental, emotional support to anyone who is struggling to cope. Anyone can call them for free on 116 123 or email [email protected]
YoungmindsUK’s vision is to live in a world where no young person feels alone with their mental health. They have already helped us so much: it’s time to give back. By purchasing the ticket you will support their work. You can also donate here: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-display/showROFundraiserPage?userUrl=ThisisEmpathy&pageUrl=1
We aim to raise £5000 by the end of the summer.
