About this Event

Joseph Higham, 1818-1883, was a manufacturer of brass instruments in and around Salford and Manchester. The firm attracted custom from brass bands in the North of England and also attracted military contracts. The brand name was well known and continued in various forms long after the death of Joseph Higham.
