Music for Babies and Toddlers

Come with your lovely babies and precious young children to experience a wonderful music session presented by leading expert in early childhood music, Prof Helga Rut Guðmundsdóttir from the University of Iceland.

She brings her decades of experience working in various countries and contexts, and training numerous music teachers on how to introduce music to babes and young children. She will present a creative, engaging and musically rich session for babies, children and their parents/caregivers.

What you can expect:

• 45 minute-practical workshop for babies, 0-12 months at 9:30 am to 10:15 am on Monday, 11th November '24
• 45 minute-practical workshop for babies, 13-36 months at 10:30 am to 11:15 am on Monday, 11th November '24
• All materials and instruments will be provided with free materials for you to take with you after the workshop
• Participation is voluntary. You may also join as an observer with your child
• Ideas and suggestions will be shared to enable you to continue exploring music with your child
• All materials will be provided for your use during the workshop
• All safety measures have been put into place to ensure that your experience is positive and memorable
• Please arrive 10 minutes before workshop time so babies and children can settle down and get comfortable
