PEI pianist Sarah Hagen performs “Music for a Summer’s Eve” at St. Paul’s Church on Friday evening, June 28 at 7:30 pm. The programme, inspired by rainbows, romances, serenades, and the sea, will highlight music and stories of Chopin, Liszt, Satie, and others.Hagen tours across Canada and internationally as both classical pianist and humorist. Her performances have been described as “a piano concert beyond the norm” [The Guardian (Charlottetown)], “outstandingly inventive” [University of Waterloo Gazette], played “with great sensitivity and heart” [Vernon Morning Star].
The show will be approximately one hour long without intermission. Admission is “Pay What You Will” at the door or by e-transfer to [email protected]
