Join us Friday, September 12 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm for a FREE Music @ Harbourside Park concert featuring Rosemary Lawton!Award-winning musician and educator Rosemary Lawton is a classically trained violinist rooted in Newfoundland’s traditional music. Her 2021 album Canvas features original songs about love, loss, and empowerment, while earlier works focus on empowering women through Newfoundland folk songs. Rosemary contributed to the Come From Away album and teaches fiddle at Memorial University, dedicating herself to preserving and promoting Newfoundland’s musical heritage.
