We're floating down the Cumberland from the headwaters to the big city to bring Nashville a taste of the mountains of southeast Kentucky! We're taking over the world famous Station Inn on Thursday, September 11 from 12:30 to 4:30 PM CT for a free to attend party to showcase our little corner of Appalachia and the music that makes it so special. And its not just about showing off Laurel Cove, but also venues like the Bell Theater, the Levitt AMP Middlesboro Music Series, as well as all the great outdoor adventure, history, and culture we have in southeast Kentucky. The event schedule will feature a festival workshop with organizers of some of Kentuckys premier festivals, including Dave Helmers with Railbird, Tiffany Finely with Master Musicians Festival, Tim Parks with Manchester Music Fest, and Jon with LCMF.
It'll also feature a songwriters round from the Farm Music Management that'll include Tim Goodin, Jordan Lee King, Ritch Henderson, Emily Jamerson, Dalton Kiser and Brayden Mullins. To finish off the afternoon, we'll have two fantastic sets from LCMF favorites Kindred Valley and Nicholas Jamerson. We'll also have the remainder of the highly sought after LCMF vinyls for sale, some merch, and other surprises you definitely dont want to miss. Heck, you never know who will stop by to say howdy.
Again, its completely FREE to the public, but is first come, first serve, so get there early! We can't wait to see everyone at this years Americanafest in Nashville!
