About this Event
The cello and harpsichord duo of Andy Canepa and Sandy Walsh-Wilson will perform a diverse repertoire spanning five centuries, including works from William Byrd, Thomas Tomkins to J. S. Bach, Antonio Vivaldi and Benjamin Britten. They will introduce listeners to their exquisite 18th and 20th century instruments as well as the composers who wrote for them, while discussing the delights and challenges of the evolving music and styles over the ages. Come listen and be transported through the ages from Elizabethan England to the swinging 60’s without leaving your seat for an hour of delightful musical travel and banter.
