Join us at The Garlic Farm Restaurant for our monthly tapas & music evenings. We are very pleased to be hosting a series of visiting professional musicians for recitals throughout 2025 in collaboration with Wight Proms Wednesdays. The restaurant will be open from 6pm serving a tapas menu until 7.30pm with 40 minute recital starting at 7.45pm. The bar will be open throughout.

On Wednedsay 15th October we welcome Cameron Mills (Voice) & Kate Robey (Piano)
Classical BRIT Award Nominee tenor & Royal Welsh College of Music trained pianist
Cameron Mills is a powerful and versatile tenor whose career spans classical crossover, theatre, and contemporary music. He has performed at major venues including Dublin’s National Concert Hall and worked with artists such as Billy Idol, Boney M, Peter Andre, The Sex Pistols, Girls Aloud, and T’Pau. A Classic Brit Award-nominated recording artist, Cameron’s dynamic performances have featured on BBC TV and radio, blending emotional storytelling with show-stopping vocals.
Kate was born in Littlehampton, West Sussex. She was a Junior Exhibitioner at the Royal College of Music, and also attended Pro Corda, the National School for Young Chamber Musicians, studying the cello and piano. At Bath Spa University she studied under Ruth Zagni and performed her debut concerto of Saint-Saens at the Assembly Rooms.
After graduating, Kate began building her performing and teaching career, and teaches piano and cello at Downside as well as a thriving private teaching practice. She also leads a beginner orchestra, coaches a Piano Trio, and is Musical Director for the annual musical production. Kate is a member of the Bristol String Quartet, regularly performing all over the South West and beyond.
In 2018, she met Classical Brit award nominee Thomas Cameron and became his piano accompanist. They have recorded two albums and tour regularly, and together they are a regular feature of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Ventnor Fringe. Kate is a busy freelance musician, performing with different orchestras including the Dartington Festival Orchestras, as well as taking on recording projects for a wide range of artists, including Kula Shaker.
