About this Event
Join us for an afternoon celebrating the rich legacy of organ music! Hosted by the National Trust SA and the Organ Music Society of Adelaide, this special meeting will showcase a captivating concert of organ music featuring both current and former organists to demonstrate the historical and heritage significance of this instrument. They will also illustrate the ongoing contribution of the organ to musical culture in Adelaide through its quality and facilities which are not found in many other parish instruments.
We’ll also provide an exciting update on the restoration of the Bevington chamber organ, a cherished piece in the Trust's collection. Learn how you can support this important restoration project and benefit from tax deductibility.
To round off this meeting, enjoy a complimentary afternoon tea in the adjacent hall, where you can mingle and share in the joy of preserving our musical heritage.
