Music and magic in the barn

Absorb the festive atmosphere in Stirley’s rustic barn with haybales and twinkly lights, be merry with friends and family, and enjoy the festive feeling in a cosy atmosphere.

Sparkle and Magic will be with us selling mulled wine, hot food, cakes and hot drinks.
Udders Cider are planning on joining us

A little activity corner for families will be available making festive willow stars.

Wide-ranging vistas, the hills, the ancient folly of Castle Hill, and lush green meadows; the aroma of wildflowers, and the buzz of bees - welcome to Stirley.

You'll arrive to our beautiful, family-friendly barn setting complete with a cosy atmosphere and hearty food to enjoy the best in local music.

What to bring/wear

Brace yourself for the changeable Yorkshire weather! We dont have any heating in the barn, so bring blankets and wrap up warm! Or boogie to warm up!

Toilets and catering

There is an accessible toilet at Stirley, as well as an events toilet trailer. Street food and drinks will be available during the event which will take card.

Covid-19 secure

If you have tested positive or think you may have Covid-19 we ask you to stay at home. Please contact Supporter Services if this is the case and your booking will be refunded. Visit our events Covid-19 page for more details.

Parking

Parking is free at Stirley. Please note that during larger events there is limited parking available closest to the barn, which is prioritised for people requiring accessible spaces.

We do encourage public transport where possible.

Directions

If you’re using a satnav or navigational app such as Google Maps then we recommend you avoid setting directions to ‘Stirley’ as this route may take you down a narrow track which is unsuitable for vehicles.

We advise setting directions to ‘Hall Bower Lane’ or postcode ‘HD4 6RW’.

If you are descending from the High Lane direction then continue past the housing on Hall Bower Lane and, when you reach the bend, the turning for Stirley will be on your left hand side.

If you are arriving from the Lady House Lane direction, the turning for Stirley will be on your right hand side as the bend in the road meets Hall Bower Lane.
