The RMA Study Group Music and/as Process is pleased to announce their 11th annual conference, in collaboration with the College of Arts & Humanities and the Advanced Research Centre, University of Glasgow on Friday 28th June to Sunday 30th June 2024.The conference will address the theme of music and sonic arts processes in relation to environment, space and place.
The conference will include papers, installations, soundwalks, workshops, and lecture recitals with Emily Doolittle, John Hails, Emma Lloyd, Tom Parkinson, Stevie Jones, Will Montgomery & Emmanuelle Waeckerle, Peter Falconer, Lisa Robertson, Benjamin Tassie, Duncan Macleod, Simon Hellewell, Nina Whiteman & Adam Swayne, Ben Gaunt, Caitlin Rowley & Harry Matthews, Katherine Wren & Renzo Spiteri, Robert Coleman, Jan Christian Schulz, Kate Halsall, Anne La Berge & Phil Maguire, and Thomas Baynes.
There will be the opportunity for a participatory performance so please bring an instrument!
