An overview of mushroom ecology and identification while paddling. Fungi identification helps us build a better understanding of the various ecosystems we encounter during our paddling excursions whether in urban environments or the wilds. While many fungi species are generalists, they do follow some rules with respect to environmental conditions and hosts. Learn why paddling provides an excellent opportunity to find a wide variety of mushroom species.
