Want to talk about why fungi are important and learn about some local mushrooms? Join fellow members of The Woodlands GREEN on Saturday, May 18 for a FREE walk and talk about mushrooms. Registration is required. Meet Teri MacArthur on Saturday, May 18, at 8:30am in the parking lot of Bear Branch Recreation Center near the skatepark at 5310 Research Forest Dr, Spring, TX 77381.
We'll spend up to 2 hours on the hunt for shrooms along the trails in the Preserve and talking about what fungi and mushrooms do all day.
Wear comfortable walking shoes, dress for the weather. Bring drinking water. Bug spray suggested. Cameras encouraged.
